I have a TI Double Vibration steering wheel (kinda no-name one) and with Win XP it always works, but with Windows 7 (Ultimate 64) it works like 5-10% of the time, even tho I change nothing in the system, I just start it up and it suddenly works. I tried to use the Win XP's system32 folder to find a driver for it in Win 7, but it doesn't work. I didn't find any way to get it working with drivers, it works when it wants to.
Any ideas please?

Solution
Uninstall your steering wheel drivers through device manager.(On Windows 7)
Reboot your PC
While logged into windows, plug in your steering wheel, and hopefully windows will install the drivers to make it functional

It says that it's an 'Unknown Device' and I can't do anything with it :/

Try this:
Open device manager
Expand and check every category in device manager
When you locate your "unknown device", right click it and select update drivers

Edit: It will give you the option to locate the drivers in your computer's folders, or from the internet

I tried it from the internet and from my computers files and the result was the same unfortunately. It said that the drivers were up to date, but it still doesn't work

I've done so but it the installation was unsuccessful and it the device is not recognized, it's still an unkown device.

It did have XP and Vista drivers, but a friend of mine has the same and his wheel works just fine on Win 7 with the Vista driver
