step down voltage converter

Gday,just recently bought a bass amp of the net. the thing arrived but is 120volt and i live in Australia which s 240volt i know i need a stepdown converter, ive found one its max output is 400watt its peak output is 450 watt. the amplifier says on the back 430 watt maximum. is this converter safe use of should i get lower watt converter?

Please post a picture of the rating label on the amp. It's likely that 430W is its output power, not input.

no im pretty sure its a stepdown i need. to go from 240 volt to 120volts. the amp is also 300 watts maximum output. the 430watts maximum is above where the power lead plugs into

Is that on the same label that has the voltage and manufacturer's name?

right above where the power lead goes in it says. 120V/60HZ T6.3AL 250V
430 WATTS Maximum
