Question Stereo Mix & Line-in option not appearing

I have a new HP laptop. Under the Sound Recording tab, Stereo Mix and Line-in do not appear...only the microphone appears. I right clicked and unchecked "hidden"...still Stereo Mix and Line-in are missing. I downloaded and installed the latest driver from Realtec...Windows 10 - 64 bit...still they don't appear. Either this Realtec sound card does not have this option or something is amiss with Windows. Any input would be most appreciated.

Just a FYI ---- drivers for laptops should only be sourced from the laptop manufacturer's website.
