Sticker on the CPU, (with image)

Hello, i building my new PC (my first time i ever do this and i learning throw youtube)

i buy I7 4790 tray
i get this cpu i some lame plastic case... and the weirdest thing is there is a sticker on the "important" side

do i need to remove it ? and who i put it there ? intel or the person that i buy it from?

Yes you will have to remove it. Be very careful though. :)

Hi

I would ask seller for their advice before removing it.

there is a square in middle of underside of Intell cpu which has a few components but no pads for pins in socket so does no harm.

Personally I would always buy a Intel boxed cpu because it comes with an Intel guarantee and good quality packaging with no chance of it getting zapped by static when taken out of tray and put in packaging.
