hi everyone,

just added third monitor and had to buy a HDMI-DVI adapter. only issue now is that whilst the 3rd is displaying, i can't actually interact/use it at all, mouse wont enter screen. the 3rd display is detected and i've got it on 'extend desktop to this display'

any help would be appreciated, thanks

Please post a pick of how the displays are laid out in display please. Is you drivers up to date? Do you have you mobo drives? And gpu drivers i know dumb question but double checking never hurts. Whats the display do you have its what do device manger show it as in display?

update: feel a bit silly but i've accidentaly worked out that the mouse can enter the 3rd display only if i drag the mouse to the right of my 2nd display which is quiet weird... so i cant pull my mouse down from bottom of top display to bottom... super annoying and bizzare, any ideas?

specs: R 5 3600, rx 570 8gb, 3x basic 1080p samsung monitors (1x 32inch, 2x 24 inch). just chekced and drivers are all up to date.

update: worked out my issue was with arrangement of displays however have encountered new issue with 'sticky corners'.

have tried googling some fixes for sticky corners but the 'edge UI' workaround in registry seems to also have been removed. anyone know of any current working solutions for this incredibly frustrating issue?

thx

What do you mean by sticky corners? Are you talking about dragging programs to the corners and snapping them into position there to cut the screen in place?

Or are you talking about the mouse not moving to the other screen in some areas? That is perfectly normal if you have screens of different resolutions. If you look at the display options where you were able to move the screen orientation around, the physical size and shape of the screens there will show you exactly how they line up for the cursor to move from screen to screen. Where they don't line up, the cursor will hit the edge.

This is a good example, in the top and bottom corners of display 1, the cursor will not move to screen 2 but get stuck on a "wall".

so by sticker corners (google's term not mine!) there is an incredibly annoying amount of resistance when i try and move my cursor between monitor 2 and 3. like if i gently move the mouse down the cursor won't go thru i have to vigorously drag it down to get it thru every time....
