Instead of having 3/4 stickies at the top of some forums why don't we just have one thread which is stickied/locked with links to the stickies of that form.
An advantage of this is that we could have a description of each sticky under their link as well as the Author / Contributing author(s) and last update.
Then the actual stickies could be unstickied to make space for actaul threads.
An example Sticky in the Graphic Section thread could be:
