Stock 770 Temperatures

I am currently looking to buy a gpu and I really like the look of the stock 770. I heard that it's temperatures can get high. I am concerned because I am looking to get card that will last. I am worried that the long periods of high temperatures with the stock cooler will shorten the lifetime of my card. I am not going to overclock, but I may be going for SLI later. Will the stock cooler decrease the lifetime of my card, or will it be ok? Would a Gigabyte windforce cooler or an Asus cooler increase the lifetime of the card vs the stock, even in SLI?

Are you talking about the EVGA model with the stock cooler? If not, that doesn't really answer my question at all.
