Stock case fans are not spinning

Hi, I just finished my first build and I noticed none of the stock fans are spinning. My case is the noctis 450. I have heard that they are pre-installed already. Whenever I plug the pwm wire into the cpu cooler slot and the cpu cooler into the extension cable the pc won't turn on so I have to put the cpu cooler wire in its slot. I did some benchamarking and I was getting 170 frames but my temperature rises to 75. I am to scared to continue it cause it might ruin the pc. Can someone please tell me how to make those fans work. My motherboard is a msu 979 gaming

Could you provide a picture or any images regarding you fans if they are properly connected to the "sys fan" small slot connectors?

Are they connected like this?

The CPU fan lead must be connected to a PWM header marked: cpu_1 or cpu_2 if not many motherboards will refuse to boot or power up then shut down.
Normal case fans should be connected to headers marked: sys_fan and they will be controlled through settings in the BIOS.
