Stock cooler on Ryzen 2600?

Hello! I have 2 quick questions on the Ryzen 5 2600. I will be getting a new CPU. The Ryzen 5 1600 or the 2600 and not the X version. Just to be clear I will not be overclocking the Ryzen 5 2600. So will the stock cooler that comes with the Ryzen 5 2600 work for instense gaming and daily use if I don't overclock it? or will it get to SUPER high temps? And also will the thermal paste that comes with the cooler be enought or will i need to place more on the CPU itself? Thanks for the help!

The stock cooler for the 2600 will be sufficient for any non-overclocked situation if you have decent airflow in your PC case.

Are you sure? I mean the Ryzen 5 1600 can do it.

Am I sure? Well, I don't personally have one of them. Everything I have read says the stock cooler is fine.
