Stock fan enough for AMD FX-8350

Do you need a after market fan for AMD FX-8350 if I have no intention for overclocking

If you can live with the noise then it just about does the job - the 80mm fan is really whiney under load though.
I would drop $20 on this personally

Dude that cpu likes a good bit of overclocking, and the stock cooler is about as good as you blowing on it through a straw from 10 miles away... Get a good high quality cooler...

I put up with the FX8350 stock fan for a year and could finally take it no more. It's loud and it'll get louder at the slightest strain on the CPU. And, I don't over clock at all. In fact, I underclock a little to try and lower the fan noise. After the past year I want quiet so badly that I bought the Noctua NH-U14S. But, for it to even fit in my system I had to go and buy another case. Hopefully, it will be the best $133 I've ever spent.

Cools very well and is almost dead silent. I could overclock to 4.4 ghz with it and it still was very silent.
Should fit in older cases as well. And its a good bit cheaper.
