Stock frequency ¿High temps?

Well, im new at overclocking. I got an AMD FX-6100 and my mobo is an ASUS M5A78L-M LX3. Stock cooling.
Sooo, i had decided to OC from 3.3 GHz up to 3.9. I made a blend P95 test first (still at stock) to check out temps and have some kind of reference. But hwmonitor showed me pretty high temperatures :S

Aren't these way too high? Does this mean i can't overclock? It would be enough for me if i could reach 3.6 though i really wanted to be at 3.9.

I was going to increase multiplier and not mess with the voltage but now it looks like i should just stay at stock. Please help! D:

PS: My mobo supports cpu of 95w, and my processor does need those 95w. Still can OC a little?

I would advise NOT running prime95, and NOT overclocking, or you are going to melt your motherboard.

I think so, don't think there's a real solution. I would like to get an hyper 212 evo cooler (they say is both good and cheap) but i don't know how to install it ( besides i don't have enough money )

You need to learn how to install aftermarket coolers if you want to be able to overclock properly. Overclocking on the cooler it came with is a BAD idea man..

I know, i just thought that i could overclock a little bit (I have known of a lot of people who overclocked with stock cooling). Of course, with normal temps, but in this case i guess i should just stay at clock

I got an idea. Keeping in mind the high temps, could i activate AMD turbo core ? It would go up to 3.9 as a max, and if im correct it's completely safe, isn't it? I mean, if temps rises way too much pc would just shut down with no damage and i could just switch it on again, am i right?

PS: I suppose its in "auto" the amd turbo core option

Just save your pennies and grab yourself a decent cooler before even considering to overclock, even if it is just something tiny. Different processors take overclocking in different ways. Some will OC great, others will give you crazy temperatures, and others will give you some sort of middle ground.
