Stock heatsink noise

My question is...

Is the stock heatsink noise level from a i5 2400 any diferent from the zalman cnps9900 max?

Btw under full load the zalman can go up to 30db which is not loud but it is a bit anoying...
I just don't if that higher then the stock heatsink, and i'm just asking this because i'm modding my fractal design core 1000 and the cnps 9900 max red led looks amazing inside. It would cost me around 15€ thats like 18$...

So would I notice a big diference in noise, either lower or higher?

You have to look at the size of the fan the RPM and if given the decibel level of the fan on the heatsink. Usually bigger fans at lower RPM give good air flow and tend to be quieter than smaller fans running at higher RPM.
