The video card I want is
HIS Hightech H487F1GP Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card.

My question is will the video card work right with my system. Can you please inform thanks

I hope you aren't planning on putting both a GTX 280 and a 4870 in 1 system. If so, then it will not work.......Well, I actually heard that as long as you don't have Vista, it will work, but I can't confirm that.

If you are planning on replacing the GTX 280 with the 4870 (which is a serious drop in performance by the way), then it will work.

Lol, I am an AMD fanboy, but replacing a GTX280 with a 4870 seems stupid. Anyway, that is no reason for calling anyone a fool. Maybe he got confused 😀 A nice replacement for a GTX280 from the "red corner" is HD4890 (which I proudly own), but still, nVidia is just better optimized for games. And really I do not get it. Have you thought about what you type? You are getting a system with a GTX280 and want 4870 along with it? What, you want Hybrid SLI/Crossfire or something??? Get that GTX out of the system description.

What camp am I in these days?

Just so messed up recommending 9600GSO for low end, HD 4770 for mid-low and HD 4890 for mid-high.

I can't even decide whether to recommend Athlon II X2 and Phenom II X3s over Pentium E6300 and the Core 2 Duo E7xxx series.

Darn competitive products.
