stop acer telling me to update flash or how to update flash using google chrome

Solution
why not have it fully uninstalled and go to the flash site and reinstall there latest version then you know your covered acer may be so far behind there detection thing may not recognize the latest flash you got and thinks its needs to be updated
Thank you Expert, after clicking on advanced tab then what? It is already set to allow Adobe to install updates There are three items listed against "check now"
Active X Version: not installed
Plug in Version: 14.0.0.145
Pepper Version: not installed
when I click on check now it takes me to here https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
This tells me I already have the plug in

If it's asking you to update it means it's installed. You may have something else that uses flash. I would either uninstall it completely or allow it to update, too many security issues in just leaving it as is IMHO.

for me it seems 90% of the time flash is for running sites ad's lots of time I get you don't have flash you need flash to view this site ... so what I really don't need to see your content anyway i'll get it some ware else .. then you got to thing of all them plug in's they want to install

Thank you very much :) I think will ask my son in law to sort it if he can as it already has the updated version of flash so it says but having issues with a game am playing though could be bugs on the game itself. Dont want to mess uninstalling it as need it to play game. Dont want to get into trouble yet again!! lol Will have to wait til weekend for him to look at it... thanks again :)
