Hello, like in the title i don't want to install the creator update.

I read is possible to disable windows update in the services list.

The problem is windows update downloaded the creator update.

Now is a problem for the method i read if i have downloaded the update or i can use this method to block totally the update from installing.

And maybe is possible to delete the downloaded files of the creator update?

Sorry for the terrible english.

Solution

8th Option i think from the Top that on your language configura aggiomanento something😛
send me screenshot of that too after opening it if you dont know what to do

I don't want to risk to install for error with a reboot creator update then I prefer disable totally windows update.

Then if I disable from services, windows update never try again to install update even if i have downloaded the files?

Yes windows 10.

Ok i opened gpedit.msc, i found two folder with name "windows update" one for user and one for pc, but I'm not sure which options I must choice.

Here
navigate to
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update.
then enable it and select the option you want to chose from the drop down

Im not sure which is the right option.

The problem is the update is scheluded for 14 august, and im not sure which options block it from restart and update.

I would not disable Windows updates. You are making a large security hole in your system. The whole point of these updates it to close loopholes found in your system. AKA security vulnerabilities.

I'd recommend instead that you DEFER the update. Defering updates allow you to still get security updates and other updates that are not BUILD related updates. It will defer the BUILD updates for a few months and then apply it on your system at a later time.

Good thing about defering updates is that it gives Microsoft time to work out any build related bugs so the build you get applied to your system. Should be fairly polished compared to the build you would have gotten straight out of the box.

Only reason to disable Windows Updates altogether is if you know something in the build may not be compatible with your system. At which point. Security is still an issue. You basically might as well go back to Windows XP if you are going to disable your updates.

predictably i not understand which option choice, i see a strange thing there are 4 option from the drop down menù but the options are numbered to 5, maybe i can't use the 1 option because the update is downloaded?

If is this the case, there aren't a way to delete the files of the update?

Thanks for the patience.
