Hi,
I got the above error when I turned my machine on
yesterday with a blue screen. I went to several sites and
researched it. some causes were removal of components that
mesed up other files. That wasnt my problem. I think the
problem is the IDe controllers and the PnP. I downloaded
all the
motherboard drivers I could but couldnt load any because
they wont load in DOS. I also did a complete scan with
scandisk and with the seagate utility which is supposed to
fix everything if its the harddisk.
I tried to make a set of bootdisks from the CD-RM but got
and error
Cannot find File CDBOOT1.
" CDBOOT2.
Cannot find File CDBOOT3.
Cannot find File CDBOOT4.
AFTER i INPUT
BOOTDISK\MAKEDISK A:
I went into BIOS and reset them both to optimize and then
to default but that didnt do any good. I also went into
safe mode and tried reloading last configuration and
everything else but tht didnt do anything either.
If anybody has any ideas please help because I have
exahausted my resources.
thanks

How old is your HD? It could be the hardware, or could be
the partition table or master boot record.
