"Stop tracking this thread"

Nope. Neither options are showing.

That's really quite weird. What browser are you using? Are you logged in as a regular member with the standard sign-in, or are you using the social sign-in option? Is it only article commentary you are seeing this on?

Standard sign-in. I have tried firefox, chrome, and explorer. It is strange indeed. The issue is predominantly in article commentary but I have seen it in regular forum threads as well as of late.

Are these older threads that you are unable to stop tracking? Threads from before March 2013 or thereabouts?
Just trying to narrow down the source. Could you link me to one you can't stop tracking?

These are newer threads. This thread is a prime example. It seems that once a thread has "matured" and ends up being multiple pages, the option appears but any single page thread does not populate the link.

EDIT:
I did find a workaround solution. If I remove the thread extension from the URL, the option to stop tracking a thread does appear.

If you click on the Quote marks at the top of the article, that links you to "View these comments on the Forum" or words to that effect, then you un follow as normal from within the forum.
It should be and has been since the update located at the bottom of the first POST not the page.

Take out the "#numbers" from the end of the url. Make sure you are on page 1 of the discussion, refresh the page a few times until the unsubscribe option appears.

I meant the number at the end of the url after the ".html"
