I recently come home after being gone for a week to find my computer only booting to bios.
Specs:
Rog crosshair viii x570 motherboard
Western Digital WD BLACK SN750 NVMe M.2 1000gb ssd
Ryzen 9 3900x
Gskill trident z Nero 2x16gb

UEFI Bios shows that it recognizes the nvme as storage but Its not listed anywhere as a bootable device. Is my SSD just fried? Is there anything I can try to fix this?

Solution
No. I mean, I have roommates and my room was open. But my PC has a password and I trust that nobody messed with it.
Weird then that your PC doesn't boot after you came back and they had access to it.

Almost like they tried to break your password and failed, bricked your OS in the process, and had to format the SSD so you wouldn't know anything happened.

I bet if you ran the windows installer you could install windows to it and it would work fine.
