Issue:
No matter what storage I use, either be it SSD or HDD, BIOS doesn't recognize it. It worked at one point about 3 weeks back, but now it isn't. Trying to connect a brand new 2.5" 2TB SeaGate HDD, still isn't working.

Attempted Solutions:
  • switching SATA and peripheral cables (result: N/A)
  • adjusted/fixed possible pinching in cables (result: N/A)
  • switched between older SSD & new HDD (result: N/A)
  • switched the SATA connections, from SATA 1 to 6. (result: N/A)
  • updated BIOS (result: nothing, it's at it's most updated)
  • rollback and updating drivers (result: N/A)
New Considerations:
Possible faulty motherboard, or bad drivers. However any change of drivers seems to result in nothing else new.

Computer Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-10600K / 4.1ghz
Mobo: MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi
BIOS ver.: 1.60
PSU: 850W Thermaltake
RAM: 32gb
Storage: SSD NVMe M.2 / 128gb
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
OS: Windows 10 Pro / 64-bit

Unfortunately, no. It just made it seem like there's no storage. This is so odd, I never had issues like this before. I wonder if I should purchase new SATA cables just to see if it'll make a difference. Already purchased an external dock so it'll be arriving soon, so at least for the time-being it'll hold me over until someone manages to find an solution haha.

With the cables connected hold the hdd in your hand.
Power up the machine.
Can you feel any activity?
