Storage Questions For My Build

1. Should I buy a 256GB Crucial MX100, or a 250GB Samsung 840 EVO?

2. How long will a Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive last? Do you reccomdne getting the 1TB Black for $80, or the Blue for $60? It will be for a gaming drive.

3. Does Lite-On make good Optical Drives? I am looking at the Lite-On iHAS124-14.

1) Yes - oh wait, I was suppose to pick one? My personal preference is the Samsung 840 EVO
2) Most WD HDD's are purported to have an MTBF of about 1,000,000 hours (100+ years). I don't know that I believe that but that's what I've found (BTW, WD only lists MTBF times for their AV and Velociraptor model drives) - I personally prefer black but blue is popular due to pricing
3) Lite-On has been a big player in optical drives for quite a while, I've used a few of them over the years without issue

I bought 2 OF THE MX100 256GB off the egg for $100.00 , they are a great value.

Yes LiteOn makes good drives I own 3 of them.
