Hello,
I have an old HTC Evo 4G LTE (Model 36100) that has some very sentimental photos on it that I am trying to retrieve. Unfortunately, the phone's micro-usb port is completely busted so there is no chance of getting anything out that way, additionally the phone will not boot. I have tried 2 seperate batteries both of which seem to hold a charge.
The good new is that I can insert a micro-sd card into it and get any photos off of the phone that way. The real problem is getting the phone to turn on, or, failing that, to remove the stored photos some other way.
I have tried: soft reset, hard reset, praying, 2 different batteries, cleaning battery contacts, praying harder.
Other than disassembling the phone and physically removing the storage, do I have any options?

Thank you in advance.

Solution
If the phone won't start, even with good batteries, the only real fix would be to try a factory reset or flashing the OS using a computer but both of those will wipe the storage. You may be able to fix the port, but even then if you can't start it, you won't be able to get to the storage.
