Storage Space Problem

Windows 10 comes out and I hear the news that I could get it, so I upgrade to the new windows. After I got it, almost all my files were gone, but my computer said that I was still using a lot of space. After this, I did a factory reset. Once the factory reset has transpired, I quickly looked at my storage space. "150 GB free of 910 GB" Does someone know what happened, and if so please tell me, thanks
(I was using Windows 8.1 before and used a tool from Windows in order to upgrade)

I'd recommend you to check Disk Management and see how the drive appears there.
I'd also look for a folder named 'Windows.old', this is where your Windows 8.1 profile and all your files should be. Here's a link to an MS article that explains more about this folder: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/restore-files-upgrade-windows-old
