Storage SSD installation issues.

I currently have a 960GB Sata III SanDisk SSD i want to install. I hooked up the power and the SATA Cable to the PSU and SATAIII port respectively. I'm trying to format it right now for game storage, but it is not showing up under the disk management window. I am just trying to use this for storage, not install windows or anything on it. Any ideas on what to do?.

Hi.
You can try connecting the SATA III cable to another Port on the motherboard maybe the port is bad or try a new SATA III cable it might be that the cable is damaged, its so rare but can happen. Also you can try looking it up in the Bios.
Please respond back if the problem persists or if you solve the problem.
