Storing harddrives, not in a mount?

So I am thinking about taking out my hard-drive bay and putting an intake in it's place so that I get better air flow in my case.
Is there somewhere in my case in which I could store my SSD and HDD?, like the optical drive bays? Are some sort of brackets available? This is my first PC build so I am not knowledgeable about this kind of thing, but I know a lot of people have found way to mod parts of theirs.

Yes, you can buy adapters that allow 3.5" HDDs to fit into 5.25" (optical) bays. Go to newegg.com and search for "2.5 drive adapters" and you'll find a lot of them. I'm not sure how easy it is to find adapters to put 2.5" SSDs into 5.25" bays.
