I respecced Shardiss, my 33 Storm Psi defender and this time round ended up
with superspeed, hurricane and lightning storm --also gale but that is
default power. Now I play ping pong with groups by starting up lightning
storm on one side and running to other side to engage hurricane. LS has a
powerful knockback and tends to kick them at me. I punch them back over with
gale or telekinetic blast, or herd them back with hurricane's push. With
Hasten going I can almost keep two storms up at once.
Throw in freezing rain and psi tornado to do damage over time and the
flip-flop dance and they just can't handle it. A nice side effect is that my
pet storms keep going even if I am stunned or mezzed (kinda miss acrobatics
so may get it back). At 34 was making behemoths in FF walk wary --although
the occasional stealth Death Mage (IE didn't see him there) can make life
miserable. She can handle most things since she runs steamy mists,
superspeed and maneuvers almost constantly --but that don't make her stupid.
The last time she died at all was hanging around with a 37 in a crey
mission. A paragon protector (scrap) popped up so turned on hurricane. The
'cane goes through walls and aggroed a PP (blaster) __a 39__ who took me
down in 2 shots regardlesss of the defenses. Oh well, learn not to hang in
the heavy's mission or expect some debt to go with the boosted XP. LOL
