Strafezon backup skill

Yes, yes, another standard question, probably, but...

My strafezon has reached lvl 70 in HC now. Basically my skills distribution
is as follows (including item bonuses):
- strafe (26)
- valkyrie (18)
- critical strike (9)
- pierce (9)
- penetrate (8?)

Everything else is pretty much at the base level. So this leaves me around
18 points to spare. So where to put them?

- dodge/avoid/evade (all are around 40%, is there any point in adding more
points in any of them?)
- more valkyrie?
- pick up a backup skill from the javazon tree, like lightning fury?
- put everything in freezing arrow so I can maybe kill some PIs, too?
- something else?

you will be disappointed with strafe in hell...
you won't have enough pts to put into LF, get a burito and put pts into
freezing and magic. those immunes are a pain in the arse...

Don't know about that. So far I'm in hell act2 without too much trouble.
Just by using strafe and some occational freezing arrows to handle the PIs.

About LF, take a look at this:

At least some people do have good experience with strafe/lf.

They overdo it a little.
I have a amazon doing solo runs in hell.
She is not using strafe, mostly because i never used it before, so i use
multishot.

I have put 13 points in LF, 15 in freezing arrow, shooting 10 arrows with
multishot, max valk and penetrate, and enough into pierce to get 75%
piercing.

I have str for gear, which will say for thunderstroke and grand matron bow.
aiming for 250 dex, atm only 235
rest in vit.
base energy, i have enough mana leech to keep throwing lf.

First of all, regarding "backup", which in my contest will mean
dealing with PI monsters which your strafe or smacking can't kill.
I did a test in SP for finding out the backup skill against PI, and
surprisingly Magic Arrow turns out pretty neat. Maxed Magic Arrow
turns 20% of your physical damage into Magic damage. It uses no
mana, no arrow, and so you can shoot for days without having to go
to town. I would pick it over any other bow skill (eg FA, IA, or
even Cupid's Arrow) as a mean of dealing with PI monsters.

Secondly, check your AR. In hell, you will need 5k+ AR to
effectively hit a Quill Rat (50k+ AR if you want to hit that bunny
with long ears.) Do you think you have enough Penetrate or AR?

Hmm that's a very good point, especially since I'm using upgraded Lycander,
which does make quite a lot of physical damage.

I don't think my AR (~2500?) is that high at the moment and yes, I've
noticed that not all of my arrows hit. But in act 1 I didn't have too many
problems, anyway. Maybe it'll get tougher later. I do have the Lava Gouts
so I get the enchant out of it from time to time to help me hit. But yeah,
I guess I should still invest points into penetrate, too.

Yesterday I turned my strafezon into strafezon-javazon with the Lightning
Fury. It seems to work ok so far, but I couldn't help thinking that I
should have done what somebody suggested: built the LF-part first and just
take ~6 or so points in the strafe. Might have been more effective that
way.
