Question Strange and painful problem after installing winthruster on my lenovo g580

Once i installed a software called winthruster my pc is no longer able to open files...as soon as i click on a file it says "device not ready" in a dialog box...i thought of refreshing pc (i have win 8) it took almost a hour and said "cant refresh pc" i still took breath and tried to reinstall windows ...i could not install by clicking on setup as it says device not ready(already told) ..so i thought of using bios .but problem is that i had set a bios password and i dont remember it...also whenever i open my pc it directly opens desktop instead of windows menu that we see in win 8...also there is just a task manager and a black background desktop...i am helpless plz someone help me !

We can't help you with bypassing security measures on any devices, as stated by our Terms of Services and Rules of Conduct. You could however try and disconnect the drive from the system and backup the data on a donor system. You can then reconnect the drive to the original system and reinstall the OS from scratch.

FYI, you posted this thread on the Windows 7 section while you're mentioning that you're on Windows 8, so which one are you on?
