Question strange audio glitching only in certain games and some artifacting

recently ive been having issues where my game audio in 3D games is cracking and glitchy (example:

this ONLY happens in games like valorant, counter strike, path of exile


games like genshin impact and honkai star rail work fine.


in games like osu!, everything works fine, i also dont have audio issues while watching videos or anything like that.



then im having an artifacting(?) issue with images/videos in my browser, example:

so far ive tried:

• reinstalling windows
• different connectors
• different headsets, including some with external usb soundcards
• new GPU
• secure boot
• latencymon had no errors, neither did windows memory diagnostic tool
• messing with sample rates, disabling audio enhancements, reinstalling drivers
• new mobo

Question - Black Triangle issue with RTX 4070

A black triangle appears in the top left when moving cursor to and from tabs, mostly on YouTube. It is specific to cursor position and usually only appears momentarily when moving mouse fast. i5-13400 RTX 4070 16GB DDR4 ASUS PRIME B760 Soundblaster Zx-R 512GB SSD Problem Driver Version

just checked it, i think i have a different issue, turning off hardware accel also didnt help the browser artifacts

fyi i ordered a new mobo, will update in 2-3 days.

just replaced the motherboard, the issues still persist.

i just ordered a new PSU, hope this will finally fix it, otherwise the only thing that is even left for me to upgrade or check is the cpu, which is thankfully still under warranty.

tested new psu, same issue. last point of failure would be cpu or maybe the RAM, ive tried booting with single ram sticks separately and they persisted, so im leaning towards cpu.

just stress tested wiht prime95 again, when stressing my cpu, the issues are all gone, any idea why?

I don't know if anything in this video will help you but what I found.
Years ago I delt with you audio glitching On windows 7. It turned out to be an audio codec install pack.
The only legit place I can think of is majorgeeks.com to even look. But is this your issue IDK

Years ago I delt with you audio glitching On windows 7. It turned out to be an audio codec install pack.
The only legit place I can think of is majorgeeks.com to even look. But is this your issue IDK
