I got a Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H and recently i've started experiencing a strange behaviour on pc start up regarding peripherals conected over USB.
I use both keyboard and mouse backlit, if I got them connected to any USB port (4x 2.0 / 2x 3.0) and turn on the pc it won't boot, appears the Gigabyte logo and stucks at this screen:

Then whatever key I press (Del or End) make the pc to continue booting without issues.

If i remove both keyboard and mouse and turn on pc with no USB's connected it Will boot perfectly.
I've tried with another mouse / keyboard (also backlit) experiencing same behaviour.
Idem with just with one of them.

I think its related with the "GIGABYTE On/Off Charge™ for USB devices" feature this mainboard got, but I haven't seen any option on bios (already updated) to disable it.

Any tips?

the older z77 chipset have issue with the amount of power they can output. asus and apple products at that time did not like each other when connected and people posted there pc. if you have a lot usb devices connected you may be pulling more power then the chipset can give.

I have nothing else connected to USB's aside keyboard and mouse. I've tried in all 8 USB's my case got, with same result on any of them (i have to click End/Del to boot up even if i plug in just ONE of the peripherals, either mouse or kb).

CPU: i7 3770k

It started to happen about 3-4 weeks ago, I've replaced power supply, fresh install, bios update and newer chipset driver. No change at all.
