Question Strange Case fan behaviour

A guy attached all the parts and I left it as it is. The case has 4 case fan. 2 of the fans were connected directly to the PSU through a white thing. Like this.

The other 2 pins were connected to the PSU directly without the white thing. The ones connected through the white plug, their leds would turn on but the other fans won't.

Its a power connector but has only 3 pins inserted into it instead of all the 4 pins. When I attached all the 4 with the white all of their leds were turning on. But then I changed all of it to direct and now none of their leds would turn on. I preder no leds because of their irritating light. like this:

If I let them stay this way would it be a problem? (Since I dont want the leds).

So i found out that the white thing is actually a molex but has 3 pins and 1 blank.. so when i connect the leds through the white molex the leds as well as fans spin.. but when I attach the fans directly to the Amp then only the fans spin but not the leds.
