Question Strange fan problem

My GPU fans work on startup, work with benchmark but don't work with gaming or MSI Afterburner.. Any ideas?

Model please? Are you sure you edited the fan in msi afternruner? like make it from auto to 25% for example and see. If the fans aren't working even with using msi afterburner then it's faulty return it.
In gaming if your temps are under 60c the fans won't work (if you have a good card not the cheap ones)

Post a separate,serious thread about your problem.
Include full pc specs,explain the problem furthermore.
I can bet more people will reply to it.

10 degrees should run 100% fans but nothing. Why would fans work in benchmark but nothing else?

Leave it for 15 minutes,benchmarks cant be done in 1 minute.It takes time for the GPU to heat up,and you will find the maximum temp your GPU reaches.

This is really really strange.
So when you want to change your fan curve,lets say you put it to 100%,the fans dont spin?

I would return the card seems faulty to me

Correct, fans only spin on benchmark, no games and no changing of fan curve
