strange freezing in mid game

it's happened in source and bf4 as well now. it looks like the background and everything else is still moving smoothly, and i am just the only one that's having the issue, or its just happening really fast to even notice. I really cant tell, but my fps does drop, not to 0, but about 20-30fps from wherever my current fps is at everytime it happens.

I am thinking its an SLi issue and I do not know how to fix that if it is...

does anyone have any ideas? it feels like mouse snesor issues, but its not cuz it happened on two mice. and i dont think its an FPS issue either, it just happens to go down whenever the "glitch/lag/freeze" happens. I
dont know what to do

yeah I think so too alot of games have not been updated for sli yes especially on the new 980 could be the problem look at the driver you are using to see what updates they have through Nvidia

maybe take 1 card out and see if problem still occurs
