So I've had this almost daily freezing of my windows 10 desk top. Often video freezes first, sometimes that's all that freezes, and never left an error message. By accident I discovered turning my FiiO USB audio adapater off caused the system to unfreeze. Latest drivers are present. The rest of the system is an Asus x570 mb, Ryzen 3900 cpu, 32GB RAM, 6700XT video card.

No, it's a much smaller adapter. I purchased the PC from a repair place so don't know the details on the PSU. I have a relatively hefty graphics card so it must be at least 650 watts. I hardly think the PS would be implicated by something powered by a USB port.

I missed this: Nothing in Reliability History or Event Viewer other than the power was turned off. Anyway, it's more of a mystery than a problem, it's not too much trouble to just turn the audio adapter off and on.
