I don't know a whole lot about computers so I'm hoping you guys can help me

PC Specs:

GPU: Nvidia GTX 570 Stock speeds
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: Z68X-UD3H-B3
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz

Sometimes when I'm playing certain games my computer freezes up. I have 2 monitors and both screens will sometimes either turn off (no signal) or turn a solid random color (orange green etc). Audio will still come through my headsets, sometimes it stutters and sounds glitched and other times it sounds normal. At this point my PC becomes unresponsive but the off switch still works.

This has only ever happened in 2 games I play, it's seemingly random and will usually happen 5-20 minutes in. Other games I can run perfectly fine with no issues. I'm 100% sure it's not an overheating issue since my card runs very cool.

I've had this computer for 2 years now and it has only ever had problems with these 2 games. I have up to date drivers for everything.

Any ideas?

With games it depends on how well the game engin is written. Not all games hit a gpu the same. I would start by cleaning out the dust bunnies.the use msi afterburner and set a new fan profile. Make sure at 50c fan on the gpu is maxing out. (you should hear it when it maxed out). The see if the two games still crash. If they do then try running memtest86 from a boot disk to see if you have bad spot of ram. The last issue would be bad ram on the gpu or a weak power supply.

Already have a fan profile, temps get around 75c at 80% usage which doesn't seem to bad but it is a little hot. I guess, I'll take your advice and clean it out since it's been awhile. PSU is 1000w so I don't think that's the issue but I haven't tested the RAM. The problem seems to come and go I guess, I've been playing for about 30 minutes now with no issues.
