Strange graphic card problems

I've been trying to solve this problem for a couple of months now and am getting absolutely nowhere. I have an Nvidia GTX750 ti graphics card and two Samsung S24C230BL monitors. The monitors have both VGA and RGB inputs; the GTX750 has a DVI, HDMI and VGA output. I'm able to connect one monitor using the VGA to VGA put/inputs, but despite buying every adapter under the sun, I get a blank screen with a "no signal" message if I attempt to connect the second monitor's VGA input with the HDMI or DVI output on the Nvdia card. I've called Samsung and they've informed me there should be no problem receiving a signal, but both monitors will only accept an output from the card's (one) VGA output. Has anybody had any experience with this, and, if so, were you able to find a solution? I'm ready to throw both monitors out my window.

Solution
are you using the latest drivers with your gpu?which one is it exactly? Does all inputs work with either monitor individually? also not all adapters are the same. im very specific with the DVI cables

i reckon your monitor has a Dual link DVI D input.
most cards give a single RAMDAC so only one VGA display per card. obviously you cannot occupy both vga and dvi i for analog signal at the same time. cannot find a reason why you insist on analog since your monitors can accept digital signal through DVI. digital signal will result in optimal picture quality. you need a DVI d cable for one monitor and an HDMI to DVI D for the other.

Thanks for your response, Chris. I have several adapters like the one you've pictured on the bottom and they don't work either. I've connected my HDMI as well as the DVI-I output on the card to the DVI outlet on both monitors and get the same response... no signal. At first I thought it was a dead graphics card and so I bought the 750. Same thing. The only way I can get a signal from either monitor is by using the DVI to RGB connection... which makes it impossible to use them as multiple monitors.

Wow, after trying for weeks I was just able to connect the second monitor to the DVI D output to the VGA input on my monitor! Now the problem is my digital monitor will not go any higher than 640X480 and my original analog continues to output at 1280x800. How can one graphics card have two separate resolutions? I've checked both windows and NVidia's graphics console software, and they read two monitors but any other resolutions besides 540x480 are not there.

And it looks like I do have a Dual Link DVI D input...

Looks like I found my answer on the Nvidia site. The 750 can't support two vga monitors, only one. Now I get to go out and spend money on yet another monitor... 🙂
