Hello. In multiple different games I get these strange box/grid patterns showing up. Usually in shadows, but i've seen it in other parts of the graphics. Here are a few examples of what i'm seeing. I assume this is a setting in the game, but I've messed with everything and haven't been able to figure out what it is. Any thought?

Looking those images, i get 3 to come into my mind: Anti-aliasing, shadow quality, render distance.

So, first try changing anti-aliasing method. MSAA offers good quality but has greater impact on performance than FXAA. While TXAA offers superior quality over MSAA.
I can't tell which anti-aliasing methods your games support. It is individual to each game.

Next in line is shadow quality, that you can fiddle around with as well.

Render distance is something you, usually, can not define. Some games may offer render distance options but most won't. But to test it is easy. Just stand where you see the low-quality shadows and then move closer and look if it renders in high quality. If it does, it's render distance, since the further away you are from something, the lesser quality render is used to keep the impact on hardware performance low.

Oh, 4th one that just came into my mind: Ray Tracing and DLSS. Try enabling these two and look if there is a diff. It should, especially with Ray Tracing but impact on performance will be severe. Note: not all games support Ray Tracing and DLSS.

Thanks for the help. I tried out changing these settings and still got the same issue. I tried messing with all the same settings in Satisfactory. I get the same issue in that game (several really).

Any other thoughts? Could it be an issue with my Graphics Card itself?

My guess it's between driver and the game's shaders. It most likely wouldn't be your graphics card.

Do manual Geforce driver search and on that page download the latest and also the oldest driver. Try newest first then oldest later if the following still doesn't work. When installing driver do the clean install option, i believe that removes compiled shaders Nvidia stores and should recompile specific shaders next time you run whichever game. Alternatively could use ddu to make sure, im guessing ddu removes shaders but not sure. Could always search 'delete nvidia shader cache' and try that.

Reason for two different dated drivers is because sometimes drivers can fix and also introduce glitches. It's trial and error, might choose a driver from middle of the page too.
