I just installed a new Ryzen 5 2600x in a Rog Strix x470-F Gaming mobo with 16 Gig of Patriot Viper RGB DDR4 3000 MHZ memory.
The issue is, after a few minutes (Between 5-15) the system freezes and stops activity. I can still move the mouse around but I cannot use any keyboard commands at all. I've had lockups before but never where I could still move the mouse around. Any ideas or suggestions on where to start narrowing down the issue would be appreciated.
Edit: Swapped in another fresh drive plus install of Windows 10 and a known set of good working ram, same results. So my guess is it's not the SSD or RAM.
This is what I've found in the event logs, not sure if its related or not.
