Question Strange icons appear, flash, then PC shuts down

I got a GeForce RTX 2070 back in November, added it to my existing 6 year old rig. Everything was OK until about a month ago. Now whenever I attempt to game or leave my PC on for a while, these symbols pop up, sometimes flash, and then my monitor says it's going to sleep and nothing can bring it back except holding the power button and then turning it back on.

Does this look fixable, or did I get a faulty card?

i7-4770k CPU
8GB RAM
MSI Z87-G45 LGA 1150 motherboard

artifacts like that usually mean a faulty card, you can try to confirm for sure if you're able to try it in another system. or by trying a different card in your system. if I had to guess though I believe that card is toast, i see an RMA in your near future.
