UPDATE , you can ignore this long post probably and skip to the update on bottom JUST SKIP TO THE BOTTOM = ) ( caps so its not missed )

Hello , first off please correct me if this is a bad section to put this ( i chose video games ).

I have a high end gaming pc that is nice and fresh and i had just bought the game SKULL GIRLS. So as i am playing the tutorial on a GAME PAD ( logitech f130 ) and to grab them your press two buttons at the same time ( if it was a key board it was be "A" and "Z" i believe.

So i am grabbing over and over practicing it with no problems and as i am doing that the power goes out in my house...so i get the game back on and when i try to grab....it suddenly is NOT working!

I tried pressing the "A" on my controller ( light punch) and it works fine....i press "z" ( light kick) and it also works fine....BUT when i press them together it doesnt grab them?! to make it worse it only grabs them 1/10 of the times actually , its like random? used to be super easy before the power went out , its not my reflexes or anything like that. every other button combo works smoothly.

Lastly , i tried the buttons on the keyboard its self and the "Z" works , but the "A" does not work! and i double checked the control set up and "A" is set to make a attack....so i uninstalled the game and re installed , plus i did a cache verification check on it with steam....but no problems found and nothing fixed. AND i tested my "A" button on other stuff and it works perfectly ( OBVIOUSLY)

So WTF happened , what is broke here? or am i missing something? Correct me if i am wrong, but in skull girls to do a grab you use , ( light punch)+(light kick) same exact time ( EASY AS HELL)

UPDATE
I figured out its because of my custom settings on my game pad....it worked before and not it doesnt...no freaking clue why , but i am glad i double checked it.
So when i place the controls to default it works , even the keyboard works!...not sure how that happened.
What i did was , i made my "x" button into my "y" button and my "y" button into my "x" button. i did the same thing to my "a" and "b" buttons. ( all these changes were only done to my gamepad logitech f130 )

on the keyboard these buttons would be the following. gamepads "x" = "a" on the key board , S = Y , D = rightbumper. A = Z , X = B , C = righttrigger.

So is there a conflicting configuration of my custom settings going on that you can find? there should be...but i cant find it...my last clue i can give is

When i press my light punch in the game on my game pad , the light punch button on the keyboard doesnt work....but if i do a kick on my game pad , the punch will work on my key board...but the kick will break on the keyboard , so i can keep mixing around what doesnt work on my keyboard by pressing buttons on my game pad to fix one button , but breaking another....is that normal?
