Hello! I have bought a new PC a month ago and since then I played many games, but a few of them have very strange lags like for 5 seconds about 80 FPS minimum and then nothing for a quarter of second. That is very disturbing when playing for longer time. I noticed that the first time on Dead Island but I thought that it was an isolated case. Now that Farcry 4 was released I noticed exactly the same type of lags, altrough the GTX 970 should be able to run the game very well. I tryed to lower the quality on high instead of ultra. Still there. Even with the lowest quality this lags were still there.
Every other game I played worked fine, included Dead Island Riptide on the highest quality.
System specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 4Ghz
RAM: 8 GB 1600 Mhz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 Palit (Standard edition > not Jetstream)
Motherboard: AsRock Extreme3
PSU: Corsair 650W
250 GB SSD
Case: Aerocool XPredator X1
I have installed the latest Nvidia drivers.
