Question Strange line appeared in the middle of the screen post blackout

It's a very strange slightly discolored grayish line right smack in the middle of the screen. I tried turning it off for 2-3 hours power drained the pc itself checked cables, using latest drives. Interesting thing it's not from end to end of the screen just a line starting in the middle and ending there not connectiong to the edges or anything. Here's a pik of it though if it's even possible to see

It starts right below the % sign. It's no deal breaker or anything but it's annoying and at certain times quite noticeable. For what I could get guess it looks like a discoloration issue to me somehow. Has anyone ever exp smth like that . I thought it was screen burn or something at the beggining.

Which display do you have?
Try changing the resolution and refresh rate or reseting it to default settings.

Tried all the above none worked. I tried using windows night more all the screen changes the line stays white.

Change your display cable and see if it helps.
I had a similar issue and I had to RMA the display and get it service.

I managed to deal with it. It seems it was some sort of a case of a frozen brightness control on those partiucal pixels or something like that. I did a complete power drain of both pc and monitor, and it dissapeared. Edit: It appeared again when the monitor heat up.
