Question Strange monitor problems

Hello,

I've been having a strange problem with my monitor for several months now, it's almost surreal. It turns out that every time I press the button on the articulated bed that is attached to the adjoining wall of my room, and faces the monitor, it starts to ripple the image or turns off without warning.

I'm puzzled by this, and I think it might be because the monitor has been used for several years and is starting to show signs of wear and tear. Can you think of a solution or should I think about changing the monitor?

Is your monitor plugged in to a surge protector?

Is your monitor plugged in to a surge protector?

No, it is connected to an ordinary extension plug, which could be the cause of the fluctuations in the display?

I would recommend trying surge protector/ power strip. God knows how the electricians installed the wiring in the walls.

Its connected to a power strip, is not connected directly to the wall socket.
