Strange old cable

Hi, I was looking through a bag of miscellaneous cables I got from a car boot sale and found this -

To be more specific it is a DVI-D Single Link cable. Single link DVI supports display resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz.

dvi-d is capable of carrying audio in certain scenarios but it is primarily a video interface. for example, i've used a dvi-d to hdmi cable for years to go from pc->home theater. on the computer end of things dvi was the go-to port before hdmi existed. given that the port is not quite obsolete yet, you may actually get use out of the cable.
