Ok, so I've been having the problem of my PC restarting itself multiple times throughout the day for a couple of weeks now, particularly when gaming, and after multiple tests I'm leaning towards the idea that it may be a faulty psu. When I went to inspect the insides of the Antec HCG 620W (just visually through the vents, didn't remove anything), I found blobs of white paste, kind of like the one you'd use in arts class at school and tooth-pastey-like, randomly scattered on various pieces of metal and wiring. Now, please tell me I'm crazy if so, or is that completely abnormal? Could this be what is causing my psu to possibly fail and for my pc to restart? Should i buy a new psu even if this isn't the problem?
Thanks.

I couldn't possibly tell you if you should replace your PSU as I don't know your system specs, but It's normal to have a white substance in your PSU. It's to try and prevent coil whine when its powered on :)
