My pc started freezing one year ago. I tried everything including redownloading windows and that didn't work. So I took out the GPU (a used GTX 770). I used the PC's onboard graphics for about 3 months until one day I put it back in and it worked. It has been fine for about 10 months until last week it started freezing again. I took out the GPU and it is fine running games(just way worse frames). What part of my PC is broken and needs to be replaced?

GTX 770 (Used)
Motherboard: Gigabyte H301M A-CF
Ram: Patriot Memory PSD44G266682
Storage: STL1000LMO024 HN-M101MBB (Used)
PSU: EVGA 100-BR-0600-K1 600 BR, 80+ Bronze 600W, Power Supply

Solution
Update drivers, especially graphics
Check temperatures (real)
Check your memory with memtest
Check your cpu with prime95
It could be bad ram or bad core(s)
See if it freezes with Prime95, if yes try to shutdown cores from bios if you can one at a time and run it again, for me it was 2 bad threads (5&6 ) on my fx8350 cpu
