Strange Power Supply buzzing noise

Hello...

Sooooo... for about more than a year now my power supply has been making this weird buzzing noise, it doesn't happen every time, it will randomly happen at some point of the day (most commonly at night) or not at all, there was even a period of time where it didn't do it at all...

Now here is where it gets interesting... it's not just mine, every computer in the house makes the same noise the same time mine does, there is no way that's a coincidence, i thought maybe that there is an overload so i shut off everything (lights, appliances, etc) but it was still there

Is there a chance that my electrical system has some kind of fault? The house is pretty old (built in the 60s) and i think the electrical system was upgraded and is also checked by an electrician yearly

That sounds really bad, but it's been happening for quite sometime now and its just making that noise and that's it, at first i freaked out and disconnected the computer and then reconnected my old one until i figure the problem out... and then thats how i discovered that it happens to EVERY computer in the house, not just this one

So what do you think this is? Is it dangerous?

That could be interference, which could come over the power line. Noise.

If you have a good surge suppressor the hardware should be safe, but not necessarily software. You'd need an UPS with brownout protection to really guarantee low quality power delivery isn't going cause a crash some time.
