Hi. The first time I had this problem was 1 year ago when I bought a new monitor. After 2 months I noticed something weird. When I drag a window or an image around the monitor, adjacent pixels flicker. I don't know how to say that but the pixels nearby other pixels that are changing color behave strangely.

Here is an example : Click Here. The first image rapresents a simple line. The second image is the pixel behavior around the line when the line is moving magnified. As you can see pixels nearby change color unusually. This problem is more or less visible with certain colors.

I checked that was a monitor issue and not a computer issue trying the monitor on another PC.
I sent the monitor back and I received another that had the exactly problem described before! I sent it back again.

In these periods I used to move another monitor without these artifacts in the same location of the house where there was located the monitors affected by this problem that I mentioned before. And now I noticed that the same problem described before affects now this monitor!

Now I don't know what to do. I don't want buy another monitor and see the same problem again. Have I a problem to the electrical system of my house?
Please help me...
Thanks.

No I didn't never have speakers near my monitors.
I want to specify that all my monitors were LCD TN or IPS and they all were connected using DVI cables.

Some monitor manufacturers require a process called "break-in" it's where they tell you in the manual to go to a certian website where it will display bunch of colours and images to prepare the monitor for use, sometimes if the "break-in" method is not done, the monitor colours may be off, pixels may die faster and sometimes even pixel issues like not displaying correct colours or flickering.

Nowadays most monitor manufacturers do this "break-in" in factory but some still require the users to do it. Some monitors even have a build in "break-in" where you can select it in the Options, but if the user is already seeing problems, it's most likely too late. The "break-in" should be done as soon the monitor is plugged in before you do anything.

I never heard about this break-in process. My monitors were all recent products and I never see that in manuals.

Manufacturers like Samsung, Dell and HP don't require this, but manufacturers like Acer still requires it I believe.
Some people also call it "burn-in" but don't get it confused with when a monitor has a burned in image/pixels.
