Strange problems with lenovo Y510p

Hi there,

laptop lenovo Y510p (windows 8x64 cannot install windows 10 as many problems have been reported)

Recently lenovo Y510p started to work strange, sometimes it won't start and it was really slow. Thus, I have done fresh windows install. But straight after I couldn't start laptop at all. I had to change the battery in and out but still, the problem was still there. Basically, after 20 min hustle, I can start the laptop, but I guess it is not normal? Perhaps breaking motherboard?

What could be the problem and how to fix it?

hmm i think you should just take it to some tech guys at a computer repair shop to diagnose and if possible repair it. if you still have warranty it'll be voided when you start poking around inside so if you still have it call lenovo for helo

I have the same problem with this laptop, when I try to start windows update, The control panel freeze. Some other installation also doesn't work. Next 20 minutes after new clean install win 8.1 I cannot install anything. Could it be caused by any driver?

umm well yes if the driver is not compatible with some of your hard ware then i suppose it could cause the problems above
