Hello! i have this model laptop for repair Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15IHU6 with:
i5 GEN 11 CPU
Nvidia GTX 3050 GPU
8GB RAM

The problem is very strange: it works fine , no problem with just the battery, but when the charger is plugged in, the laptop freezes.

In "BurnInTest" it shows DRX12 error. On the battery test it shows pass.

  • I updated the BIOS
  • i update to latest graphic driver
  • I changed the RAM
  • I changed the charger

Please , any ideea for this fault? thank you!

i update to latest graphic driver
Did you use DDU to remove all GPU drivers from your build? If not, do so, and remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) and manually reinstall with the latest GPu driver sourced from Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Following that, go into Device Manager and remove both entries showing up under Batteries.

I changed the charger
With a genuine part for the laptop?

I'm assuming you have Lenovo's Vantage app installed?
