Strange Smell Cant Locate the source

Hi, So i had my pc for a month now without any incident but yesterday i started noticing a smell like burning rubber i opened it and inspected it visually i didn't see anything weird i tried to pinpoint the smell to no avail but if i cover my nose for a second and let go i smell it right away everything runs normal games play normal post beep is ok what could be the cause? My system is: Core i5 6600k, Asus Z17p-A mobo, asus strix 970, evga 750 G2, 2x 8gb ballistix sport lt, corsair h80i V2, WD blue 1tb and NZXT phan-001wt

Is it a rubber or plastic smell. Inspect the MB carefully for any blackened burned spots and have a good sniff of the PSU.
If its the PSU then swap it out and your MB may live. If your system is running fine you may be lucky.
